Your gallery comments are yours to fix
You can edit or delete your own comments on Creator Gallery posts. Critics now keep their badge in the thread, and a like or comment started while signed out finishes after you log in.
Device filters stopped repeating themselves
Wi-Fi and WiFi, Android versions, screen details, storage combinations, and other lookalike specs now roll into useful filter choices. The full detail still stays on each device page.
Comment photos now get checked before they appear
Photos attached to discussions now go through the same safety check and clean rebuild as Creator Gallery posts. If an image cannot be verified, it is removed and your inbox lets you know.
Profile photos get the same safety check as gallery posts
Avatars and banners now stay private while we check and rebuild the image. Your old photo stays put until the new one is ready, and your inbox lets you know if it went live.
Critic profiles put their photos first
Open a critic profile and their Creator Gallery is the first thing you see. Critics can post from there, preview the photo, check the recommended size, and watch a grey progress tile while we get it ready. Their inbox lets them know whether it went live.
Critics can post without leaving Community
Signed-in critics now get a Share a post button at the top of the Community page. Pick a photo, add the caption, and it goes straight to the gallery.
Critics have their own Community grid
The Community page now keeps verified critics together in one unranked grid. Old critic links land here, and anyone who wants to apply can still do that through Help.
Auto-generated usernames got less robotic
New members get handheld-flavoured names like retro-cartridge-4821 instead of member-ID handles. We updated the old generated names too, left custom usernames alone, and kept the old profile links working.

Account deletion and newsletter unsubscribe
You can now delete your account and its community data from the account page. There is also a public unsubscribe page for anyone who just wants off the newsletter.
The important fine print is in the footer
Privacy, terms, cookies, affiliate details, content rules, FAQ, and contact links now live in every footer. Where to Buy also says plainly when a link may earn us a commission.
Every device keeps a spec history
The bottom of the Specs tab now shows what changed, when it changed, and where the update came from. If a community correction fixed it, the person who spotted the problem gets the credit.
Corrections and critic badges show up in the feed
Profiles and the Following feed now show approved spec corrections and the day someone earns their Critic badge.
Release the slider to save your rating
The extra Submit button is gone. Drag the score, let go, and your vote is counted. You can drag it again whenever you change your mind.
Critics can post hardware photos
Verified critics can add and remove their own photos in the gallery. Signed-in members can like them and jump into the comments. The original gallery photos now work like regular critic posts too.
One gallery for every critic post
The homepage now previews the latest critic photos. Open the full gallery to browse everyone, search for a critic, or stick to the people you follow.
Think a spec is wrong? Send us the fix
Signed-in members can hit Suggest a correction at the bottom of the Specs tab, show us what needs changing, and preview the correction before sending it. We review every one, and its status stays under Your requests.

Member search has real filters now
Search the member list or narrow it to Critics, Following, Most followed, or Newest. The URL keeps your view, so you can share the exact list you are looking at.
Compatibility badges say how well a pick runs
The Plays badge now tells you whether your picks run great, okay, poorly, or not at all. It also stops suggesting modern PlayStation and Xbox games for Android handhelds that cannot play them.
The member list got its own page
You can now scroll through every public profile without cramming them onto the main Community page. Follow and Subscribe buttons sit right on each card, so you do not have to open every profile.
Sale prices no longer pretend to be MSRP
Device pages now keep the current offer and list price separate. You can tell what a handheld normally costs before deciding whether the sale is any good.
Spec filters made it to the full catalog
The filters from the leaderboards now work across the device catalog too. We also cleaned up the toolbar on phones.
Swipe through the homepage cards
The featured pedestal and device spotlight now respond to swipes on phones and tablets.
Hide mature games when you want to
Games now show age ratings. Your account settings decide whether mature titles appear in searches and recommendations.

One-tap mobile leaderboard filters
On a phone, you can now filter the rankings by tier or operating system without digging through a menu.
Better offer sorting and restock alerts
Where to Buy now sorts offers by vendor. If the device is sold out, you can ask for a restock alert instead of checking the page every day.
Every ranked device in one directory
The device directory puts the whole catalog on one page. There is a permanent link to it in the footer.
Swap either side of a comparison
Change one device without rebuilding the entire comparison from scratch.
