The AtGames Sega Gopher is an early licensed Genesis handheld built around original-style 16-bit Sega hardware, a 2.8-inch display, and six-button controls. Its SD-card expansion and composite AV output make it useful for portable and television-based Genesis play, but it is limited almost entirely to Mega Drive and Genesis software. Weak audio reproduction, a dated TFT screen, missing shoulder controls, and obsolete proprietary software severely limit its usefulness beyond its narrow retro niche.
