The MINILOONG Pocket 1 is a horizontal Linux retro handheld with a 4-inch 960x720 laminated IPS display, removable faceplate, and budget-market positioning. Its RK3566 processor targets PlayStation and earlier systems while offering partial Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, PSP, and Saturn performance, accompanied by a Hall-effect stick, interchangeable directional controls, stacked shoulder buttons, dual microSD slots, and passive cooling. Its sturdy construction, comfortable grips, controls, bright high-resolution screen, and HDMI output are appealing, but poor stock software, uneven higher-end emulation, one analog stick, a mono speaker, absent rumble, and unfulfilled modular-accessory promises significantly weaken the overall package.
